Summer Series is underway!

Summer is here, and while that may mean school is officially out - the drone soccer competition doesn't have to stop. That's why we're excited to officially kick off the 2024 U.S. Drone Soccer Summer Series - a points-based competition that will allow teams from all over the country to win prizes, stay active with drone soccer, and have a chance to be crowned "Summer Series Champions." Here's how it works: you'll accumulate points for your drone soccer activity, no matter when and where it is: planning a demo at your neighborhood community center? Get points! Organizing a friendly match with another local team? Get points! With the Summer Series, you'll accumulate points every time your team to participates in a U.S. Drone Soccer activity - whether it's  across town, across the state or across the country. The more active you are, the more points you'll receive. 

 

Points can be accumulated by teams through activities such as: local U.S. Drone Soccer sanctioned mini-tournaments, hosting events , and providing demos, team presentations or workshops in promotion of U.S. Drone Soccer. The points gathered by teams lead to AMA District and U.S. Drone Soccer national rankings.

 

Students will gain critical experience in competing, event planning and community outreach, and team coaches will gain experience using our online league management system LeagueOS (Fly.DroneSoccer.US).

A prize package for the top teams is planned to include a six pack of drone balls, a Michelin Inflatable arena, and a Tattu battery refresh.

Some Key Information About The Summer Series:

• Summer events are sanctioned by U.S. Drone Soccer. Register here.

• All crew members/pilots must be registered and on a team at Fly.DroneSoccer.US

• Competitions must be scheduled and managed at Fly.DroneSoccer.US

• All event results must be reported back to the U.S. Drone Soccer Association using the online Event Results Form.  Summer Competition badge will be awarded in LeagueOS on or after August 15, 2024.

• Team rankings will be posted here at USDroneSoccer.org.
